Dazzling a worldwide art market
Sotheby’s New York headquarters is a bustling destination for the worldwide art market, with both public gallery and private auction spaces open to international participation. A ribbon of LEDs is seamlessly integrated with the lobby's interior architecture to provide a branded and versatile media program showcasing Sotheby's daily events and exhibitions within the space.
A solution that encourages collaboration
The engine behind this installation meant building a custom application suite that serves as a cross-functional hub for Sotheby's curatorial and marketing teams. Photos, videos, online data and high-resolution artwork are integrated with layout, behavior, day-part and scheduling rules to display exhibition programming, brand animations, custom content and way-finding. A family of digital displays located at key locations throughout the building also facilitates navigation and encourages a sense of discovery to visitors and patrons alike.
