A modern web presence for an historical institution.

A New York City Institution
Founded by inventor, industrialist and philanthropist Peter Cooper in 1859, The Cooper Union for the Advancement of Science and Art offers education in art, architecture and engineering, as well as courses in the humanities and social sciences. The school is a New York City institution and their Great Hall has stood for more than a century as a bastion of free speech and witness to the flow of American History and ideas.
From disparate, to unified
The challenge was to create a unified presence for the different schools, faculties, and student majors at The Cooper Union, and improve its ability to showcase academic programs alongside cultural events and exhibition offerings. The solution meant devising a new editorial and content strategy, supported by a robust CMS featuring a wide range of publishing tools for cross-departmental teams.
